Sustainable Style

Did you know, synthetic fabrics are often non-biodegradable, meaning that when discarded, they do not break down in the soil, ending up in our landfills for years to come. The chemicals used in their manufacture are also extremely harmful to the environment and us. This is why we are proud to work with Rami.

What is Rami and why is it important?

Rami is a delicate handwoven material made from the Rami tree. It grows fast and consumes less water. It is a natural source meaning it is 100% biodegradable.

Why choose natural over synthetic dyes?

The Jasmine Skirt is naturally colored with plant based dyes made from tree bark and leaves that are grown on sustainable farms. The factory uses zero-waste when creating our dyes. By choosing naturally dyed products, you are choosing to consciously make a difference in the world we share. Most of the world's clothing is chemically dyed, causing a huge pollution problem for our home, the earth, plus it is the no.1 polluter of clean water (after agriculture).
